It's been waaaay too long since I've updated this! But I've been super busy!
I started the year out producing Oscar coverage for E! It was superfantastic!
Here's a pic of me up on the roof of Ripley's Believe it or not building on Oscar day. I did live hits here with hosts Jason Kennedy, Ben Lyons and cool as Julian Barberie!
I have to give myself props for being 4 months pregnant and making it up the scaffolding onto that roof! But hey--I'm a PROFESSIONALLLEEE!!!
This job was fantastic--as a lover of all things film, it was great to dissect the contenders in the packages I did. Looking forward to it next year.
After a brief break, I was hired to produce the 2008 MISS USA Pageant which was live in Las Vegas this year. I had a blast! I worked with the Gurin Company, NBC and the Miss Universe Organization. We were in Vegas for three weeks and it was definitely a challenge crisscrossing the Vegas strip with all the contestants (and now 6/7 months pregnant!)
The show came out fantastically. Here's a pic of me with the winner (I had a feeling from the beginning--she just had "IT"!!!)
What's next for me? Well after a respite while I welcome a new member into our family, I'm moving full steam ahead in shooting Reality Check--my first feature!!!!
I'm also re-embracing my love for writing--working on another screenplay and a book or two! yeah!!!!
